How do I add a new transfer recipient in mobile banking?



Adding an External Account through Mobile Banking

  1. Tap the Money Movement icon ►Tap Transfer
  2. Tap “Transfer To”
  3. Tap “Other Accounts”
  4. Tap the icon next to “Search for Recipient”

To a Santander Bank account:

  1. Tap “Santander Account”
  2. Enter New Recipient’s Information:
    • Last Name
    • Account Number
    • Zip Code
    • Nickname
  3. Tap “Done”
    Result: For Authentication Purposes, a One-Time Passcode (OTP) will be sent to the registered Cell Phone number on file.
  4. Enter the One-Time Passcode
    Result: The following message will display: “New recipient has been successfully added”

To an account outside of Santander Bank:

  1. Tap “Other Account”
  2. Select “Account Type”
  3. Select “Account Owner”
  4. Select “Profile”
  5. Enter New Recipient’s Information:
    • Full Name
    • Routing Number
    • Confirm Routing Number
    • Account Number
    • Confirm Account Number
    • Nickname
  6. Tap “Done”
    Result: For Authentication Purposes, a One-Time Passcode (OTP) will be sent to the registered Cell Phone number on file
  7. Enter One-Time Passcode (OTP)
    Result: The following message will display, “New recipient has been successfully added”
