Mortgage Payments & Servicing Your Loan
How to Make a Mortgage Payment at Santander Bank
Everybody manages their finances differently. That’s why we have 4 different ways to make mortgage payments.
Automatic Withdrawal
Like direct deposit, you can set up an automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account for your residential mortgage. You will need to fill out an authorization form with information about your mortgage, the account you would like to make the withdrawal from, and the signatures of all account holders. You can also indicate what date you would like the payment to be withdrawn, as well as any additional amount beyond your minimum monthly mortgage payment that you would like to be withdrawn.
Once your form is completed, mail it and a voided check or deposit slip or a copy of your statement reflecting the account information you would like your payment withdrawn to:
Santander Bank
Attention: Cashiering Department
1 Corporate Drive Suite 360
Lake Zurich, IL 60047-8945
Please continue to make your monthly mortgage payment until you have received confirmation that your automatic payment has been setup, and the effective date the payment will begin to be withdrawn.

Online BillPay
If you’re a Santander Online Banking customer, you can make mortgage payments online with BillPay.
By Phone
You can make mortgage payments over the phone by calling 1-855-241-5700. Be sure to have your residential mortgage and deposit account information available. Note, there may be a charge for this.
By Mail
Your monthly mortgage statement will include a tear-off portion that can be mailed to make your payment. Mail the tear-off portion and payment method to:
Santander Bank N.A.
P.O Box 371306
Pittsburgh, PA 15250-7306
Mortgage Payment Schedule
Included in your closing documents will be a first pay letter. This will include the amount and due date of your first mortgage payment, as well as contact information for making the mortgage payment. You will also receive a mortgage statement each month to remind you of the amount due. If you are unsure when your monthly mortgage payment is due, contact your Mortgage Development Officer.
Make your mortgage payment schedule simple. Fill out our Simple Fact sheet with your Mortgage Development Officer at closing, and keep it nearby for quick reference to your monthly mortgage payment date and amount, as well as key facts about your loan.
Making Mortgage Updates
Because your mortgage term may span several decades, you may need to make updates to your personal information over time. For all mortgage inquiries, please call our Customer Contact Center at 855-241-5700 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. EST, Monday-Friday, and ask to speak to a Mortgage Representative.
