Business Resource Groups

BRG members

Santander US implemented seven Business Resource Groups (BRGs), open to all employees and allies. With representatives across our footprint, the BRGs promote leadership, find and develop diverse talent, raise awareness and educate colleagues about relevant subjects, and build an internal support system for workers within Santander.

BRG support:

  • Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) Our mission is to harness the unique talents, experiences, and perspectives of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) professionals within our organization to drive business success, foster innovation, and promote inclusivity. Through strategic collaboration, development initiatives, and community engagement, we aspire to be a driving force in shaping a diverse and thriving workplace.
  • Black Organization for Leadership & Development (BOLD) Our mission is to leverage the diversity of thought and experiences of our colleagues to support the growth and career mobility of our Black employees. To advocate for diverse voices in decision-making by partnering to offer insights to the Black community to embrace change, cultivate a culture of equity, inclusion, and collaboration to benefit all.
  • Caregivers and Abilities Resource Group (THRIVE) Our mission is to support and empower those who face unique challenges in and out of the workplace to drive a more open culture. We wholeheartedly embrace colleagues who serve as caregivers, aid individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities, and provide assistance to those in need or who support others.
  • CONEXIÓN Our mission is to cultivate a culture of respect, collaboration, and inclusion. We are dedicated to building a sense of community where our Hispanic and Latino colleagues can advance, feel empowered and are able to make meaningful impact in the communities where we live, work, and provide service.
  • EMBRACE Our mission is to promote respect, inclusion, and diversity in our workforce, community, and customers. We strive to foster a safe work environment for LGBTQ+ colleagues and allies where everyone can do their best work and be their whole selves. We offer opportunities for our colleagues to collaborate, engage in community initiatives, and leverage our global footprint to understand cultural differences and challenges.
  • Veterans Business Group (VET) Our mission is to promote leadership, find/develop talent, enhance employee engagement and build an internal support system for veterans and allies within Santander. While simultaneously encouraging diversity, fostering an inclusive environment among employees at all levels, and identifying any cultural gaps that can prevent employees from realizing their full potential.
  • EmpowHER Our mission is to foster a respectful, collaborative, and inclusive environment. We are dedicated to the development, empowerment and growth of women and their allies within the communities where we live, work, and serve through networking, community and philanthropic efforts and mentorship opportunities.
