What is a cash back credit card and how does cash back on a credit card work? Unlike reward miles and points, cash back is straightforward. Every time you make a purchase, a percentage is paid back. Getting cash back from a credit card

What are APR benefits?

Credit cards generally have an introductory APR when you open a new account. These rates are usually low to 0% to help you transition your balance and settle into your new account. This is a great way to take advantage of the lower to 0% rate, so you can save on interest payments.

For example, the Santander® Ultimate Cash Back® Card has a 0% introductory APR for 12 months on qualified purchases and a 0% introductory APR for 12 months on balance transfers made within the first 90 days.* After that your variable APR on purchases and balance transfers will be 20.01%-29.14% APR* That means transferred balances and purchases will not accumulate interest for 1 full year, so you have time to pay off your balance and earn cash back at the same time.
